WoooHooo! Soooo... let's get started!
I want you to have the best experience possible with your party. Here are tips and general information about how your party will work.
Here's what I'm going to do during the party...
1. I will create your party link through my website. The link is where everyone goes to order their product. Orders placed through your party link will count toward your party total.
2. I will create your party on Facebook. While I'm creating it I'll add you to the group right away.
3. When I create the group and add a description, I will message you with the party link and let you know when it's time to invite your friends.
4. I will be posting in your Facebook party 2-3 times a day with products, tutorials, and tips and tricks.
Here's what you should do during the party...
1. Let’s get inviting! I know from personal experience that you will start going through your friends list to invite your girlfriends and you will skip over a whole bunch of girls because you think they wouldn't be interested or you haven't talked to them in awhile. Well guess what? Just invite them because why not?! You will be REALLY surprised who orders from your party! I know from personal experience that when I just decided to go for it and invite all 233 of the gals on my friends list, there were TONS of gals that I never ever thought would order who ordered! The most successful parties have over 100 people in them, but if you don't have 100 people to invite don't worry, just invite whomever you can!
2. Throughout the party it is important that you comment and like posts in your party. It is essential for a successful party that you are active in the group by making your own posts, commenting on mine or tagging friends you think would be particularly interested in a certain post. The way FaceBook works, your friends are MUCH more likely to see a post from you than they are from someone they are not friends with (me). I don't expect you to be on Facebook all day every day for your party, just comment when you're able to. Even writing "cool" or "I can't wait to try that" in the comments of a post is a quick and easy way to get more people involved in your party and seeing the party posts.
3. If you have already tried the 3D Mascara or other Younique products, please share a selfie – or two or three! Definitely show a pic of your lashes with normal mascara vs. the 3D – those make a huge impact! Talk about why YOU like the products, your enthusiasm will really go a long way. I have an image library for you to use if you like – you can download & share photos in the group or on your FaceBook timeline, Instagram, Twitter – anywhere you want and direct people to your party link on my website.
4. Share your party link on your actual Facebook page wall on the first day of the party and again toward the end of the party. You can write a message saying that you're hosting an online Facebook party and post your party link for anyone interested who may not look in your party.
5. I highly recommend you write a welcome message in the party group to your friends. I could easily do this for you, but your friends are much more likely to see the message if it's from you. Here's an example of what you could say (feel free to copy and paste this if you'd like to)-
..."Hi everyone! I am so excited to welcome you to my online party and introduce you to Younique, especially the AMAZING 3D fiber lash mascara! You definitely don’t want to miss out on this, you won’t believe what this stuff can do for your lashes! My super fun Younique lady will be here posting info about the 3D mascara, product demos, makeup tips and more! Make sure you ask any questions as they come up! This is going to be a fun and friendly party! I can’t wait to get started! You can place orders through my party link here (insert link I sent you) and my party ends on (insert date here) so don’t miss out!"
6. Another option that can be really important for people who may not be familiar with Facebook groups or may be casual users is to send an individual message about your party.
Here’s an example of what you could send in an individual message, I can also help you create a cute invitation graphic (photo) to send!
---You: Hi (friend’s name)! I’ve discovered this amazing new product and I’m so excited about it that I decided to have an online party to share it with everyone else! The party is 100% online – you don’t have to go anywhere! Super fun & easy! You’ve got to check out all the great cosmetics from Younique – especially the 3D Fiber Lash Mascara – It’s like false lashes in a tube! You’ll also get to hear all the great tips & tricks the fabulous lash lady has to share with us! It’s taking place on FaceBook in a closed group. You’re welcome to invite anyone else who wants to join us! Here’s the link to the group, I have already invited you to it!
(Insert the FaceBook party link (group or event) here … NOT the website party link and then send the message!)
BUT what if I want to invite someone who isn’t on FaceBook?
Easy! Just adapt the message above leaving out the FaceBook parts, and insert the PARTY link from the website and share it with them via email or text, whatever works for them! This way they can browse the website and order through your party even if they aren’t on FaceBook! You can even copy some of my posts out of the party group if you want to share with someone not on FaceBook.
What could I earn for hosting this party???
You probably want to know what you are going to earn from this party right? Here’s a breakdown! Every product is worth a certain amount of party points. Those points add up to determine how much you earn in rewards. Rewards begin when your party reaches $200 in sales. So talking in mascara terms, each 3D mascara is worth 290 party points, so if you want your party to qualify for free & half priced items you want to sell at least 7 mascaras (or any other products) to get to 2000 points.

On your party page through my website you will see a progress chart that shows you how your party is doing like the one below.
How do I use my Hostess rewards when the party is done?
Once your party closes, your rewards will be automatically added to your Younique account. Just go to my website, shop and then go to checkout, you’ll be able to apply your rewards there. All hostess rewards are valid for one year!
